I’m Darrell,

The owner of D² Arts. I am an artist located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I have lived here most of my life. I have studied art, architecture, engineering as well as art education at The University of Arkansas and Henderson State University. It was at Henderson I received my B.F.A. with an emphasis in sculpture and ceramics as well as my Master of Arts in Teaching and principal endorsement. I decided to leave education recently to pursue my personal art. You will see that I like to work in a lot of different mediums from ceramic mugs to paintings to furniture, maybe even Christmas ornaments. I will work on very different themes. I have ADD and Dyslexia so my attention is all over the place. I also create acrylic resin blanks for pens and duck calls.

Most of my work is created so I can work an idea out of my head. I am happy to take commissioned work so if you see something you like but want it to be a little different just ask and I will see if I can accommodate your request.

All of the work here is hand made. It will have unique aspects that you might not find in mass produced works that you find at box stores. I strive to create quality work that will bring the owner lots of joy as they use it or look at it.
